Tanner Harris
Tanner began his career in public service as a pilot in the United States Navy. Following operational tours with Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Three (VQ-3) and Seven (VQ-7), he finished his military service onboard the USS George Washington (CVN-73) in 2018.
Prior to joining the NPLA Alumni Executive Committee, Tanner completed Answering the Call, Foundations, The Journey Continues, and was an attendee at the inaugural Campaign Academy in Boston. He recently volunteered as a Military Veterans outreach coordinator for a US Senate campaign in Colorado.
Tanner holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Studies from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Arts in Government from Johns Hopkins University, where his studies focused on national security and campaign finance law. He believes in the importance of civic duty, and as a veteran, understands the great potential that a public service background can have on improving today’s uncertain political climate.
He currently resides in Denver, CO with his wife and two children.
