Biography
Roberta is a former marketing executive with 18 years of experience in the communication and advertising industry. Having held several leadership positions, Roberta understands the challenges leaders go through on an everyday basis. Roberta informally began coaching and guiding her own staff and direct reports, while running Omnicom’s subsidiary, TBWA, in Berlin, Germany. Through this experience, she found her true passion and has dedicated the last 15 years to developing and focusing exclusively on coaching and facilitation.

As a coach, Roberta supports clients transitioning to new leadership positions, building solid and effective relationships, increasing self-awareness and self-management and dealing with conflict effectively. Roberta’s passion is coaching across borders and across cultures. Having worked and lived in six different countries, most of her adult life has been balanced between European, American, Asian, and Latin cultures. She offers her clients coaching in English, Swedish, and Portuguese.

Roberta holds a BA in Social Communication from the Catholic University of Santos, Brazil and is a certified coach and facilitator through The Leadership Coaching Program and the Facilitation Program of Georgetown University, Washington, DC.

In 2008, Roberta started her coaching practice and today, she works with coaching and workshops for clients in the US, Europe and Asia and South America. Her coaching experience includes clients in Banking, Finance, Strategic Consultancy, Non-Profit, Media, Automotive, Oil and Gas, Advertising and Communication industries in several countries and locations.

Outside her coaching practice, Roberta is the Co-Director of the Leadership Coaching Program at Georgetown University. Additionally she is a PCC Portfolio Assessor for the International Coaching Federation and serves as a Juror in the International Latino Book Awards.

She also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Filed School in Washington, DC and served on the Executive board of the non-profit “STABLE arts” as chair of the DEIA Coordinating Committee.

Roberta lives in Washington, DC with her husband and 14-year old son and loves traveling, cooking and reading.
