Kaela Buenaventura

Programs Associate

As a Program Associate, Kaela Buenaventura (she/they) supports New Politics Leadership Academy programs. Prior to joining New Politics Leadership Academy, she worked for the Bureau of Labor Statistics where she collected and analyzed economic data for the International Price Index. Before that, she was a Teach for America corps member in New York. 

Outside of work, Kaela volunteers at a local rescue ranch and helps with the care of wild mustangs and rescued animals. Kaela graduated from UC Davis with a B.A. in Economics and International Relations. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
